The City of Anniston, Alabama seeks a City Manager who will help lead the county seat into a revitalized 21st century position. Anniston is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains 60 miles east of Birmingham and 90 miles west of Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field along with five years of managerial experience in municipal or county government. To be considered, a candidate must have a minimum of five year’s progressively increasing executive responsibility in a local government administrative position.
Our City Manager acts as CAO of the City and oversees 400+ employees, with an annual operating budget of $46.87 million. Salary ranging from $130,000.00 – $160,000.00. Relocation expense negotiable.
